About the Product
"The idea behind the collection is to use what we have. We take away, we appropriate, we transform. Hard, sharp, clean forms, original colours, as
found within the bottles. We believe that Transglass is a glassware collection with a contemporary beauty that shows a positive attitude toward
the environment." - Emma Woffenden and Tord Boontje
transglass is produced in Guatemala from recycled and reused wine and beer bottles. This environmentally friendly product is a great addition to
any dining or coffee table, and makes the perfect gift.
transglass has been accepted into the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
