Celebrate Stripes

Origo Mix celebrates 10 years of success for Alfredo Haberli’s STRIPES.

The set of tableware created by Argentinean – born Haberli in 1999 has become an international success story. The distinctive colorful stripes of the Origo range have been featured in nine combinations so far. Ironically, Haberli’s original idea did not start with stripes, however, but rather with the idea of creating a set of white, stackable everyday tableware suitable for a wide range of uses. Stripes were only originally featured on the small egg cup. Now, 10 years later, Haberli has created a new design with his ORIGO MIX, drawing on all the previous color combinations and resulting in something that very much speaks of today.

Dots, is the first time that a fireplace and seating have been brought together to create a portable product family. Designed by Werner Aisslinger, the cylindrical elements can be assembled on a bacony, on the terrace or in the garden, and together they generate a backdrop which lends itself to communication – a modern interpretation of sitting around a campfire. The minimalist design makes experincing the fire the genuine focus and creates hours of atmosphere. The textile cushions are weather resistant and can be washed. The DOT is available in two sizes.

When you just don’t want your friends to go…

Good design isn’t just about beauty or form. Good design is also about making our lives a little easier, just a little more enjoyable. And if so, shouldn’t we celebrate the functional as well as the beautiful. That’s where BLU DOT comes in.

The ONE NIGHT STAND by BLU DOT is a sleeper sofa that doesn’t look like one. Sort of like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Just remove the the back cushions and flip the seat forward. Voila! an instant queen sized mattress.
